Unit 6

Unit 6

The loving kindness meditation was very simple.  I got my words twisted up bit but other than that it was kind of fun. I don’t think it would have a great impact on the outcome.  I can seem myself starting this medication and then forget to do it, with everything that I have to do in the mornings, but it seems that it will be a great inspiration if I do it consistently.   .

I can say that i do have some close relationships that are sort of strange.  I have spent substantial amount of time given my all to my family, husband and some close friends.  Although I have no issues with finding something to do and they participate with me.  I do not think that I need interpersonal work, but no one is perfect so I may can use a little.
I made a promise to myself that the year of 2014 is going to be more about Crystal, although I do have kids and they come first, but a little bit of Crystal time will do more help than harm.
I also need a little help with Worldly I strongly lack social engagement due to my busy life as superwoman.

Unit 4

The experience that I had was very great for unit 4.  It did make me feel very relax and also sleepy.  The music OMG, soothe me so much. Yes I would defincelty recommnend this to other who would want to free their mind for a few moments.  The meditation is not for everyone, but if you let your mind go it can really help anyone.

The concept of a mental workout can be something like exercising, meditiation, kistenting to music, reading a book, trying new things.  Altoghter give your mind a little work out.  Proven benefits of these mental workouts include but are not limited to better relationships both romantic and platonic, increased self esteem, a better you and healthier and happier lifestyle.

In order to implement these mental workouts you should find something you are passionate about.  Exercising is a good mind workout, especially if you do it all the time, challenge yourself to do a few more sit-ups than what your used to, run that extra mile.  Read a book, do puzzles etc.

Unit 5

When comparing the Loving Kindness exercise to the Subtle mind exercises I found it a lot easier stay in tune with the Subtle Mind exercise.  The sounds waves was awesome and soothing, relaxing, and again wanted to go to sleep,  I actually recorded the sound effects, to see if I will work for the rest of my family.  Even though the voice might freak out my two year old and 7 year old kids. Keeping a positive frame of mind at all time, is awesome, I try to include negative thoughts in my daily life especially in my home

The connection between spiritual, mental and physical wellness is that you have to realize that in order to to mature you cannot have one without the other.  They are like twins that are in-separable.   They are all related in the whole wellness aspect of your life.  I am able to connect with all of these three and with these it helped me to be a better mother for my kids, I was usually always stressed but incorporating all these I am more calmer than before and my patience is  way long.

Based on your reflections, and on a scale of 1 to 10 (ten being optimal wellbeing) where do you rate your A: physical well-being B. spiritual well-being C: psychological well-being

my physical well-being I would rate a 10. I am a mother of four children, wife, work full time, and attend school full time. I typically work out six days a week. My spiritual well-being I would rate 10. I am a Christian believer; I'm in church every time the doors open. I believe that everything happens from the master above. I read my bible every day, and I listen to nothing but Gospel music. My psychological well-being I would rate a 6. I am going through some tough personal times and it is extremely difficult to maintain my life as it is. Between my family, work, school, etc. Exercising and reading my bible helps me release the aggression I'm feeling at that moment. I am very pleased with myself and my life as it is.

Develop a goal for yourself in each area (physical, spiritual, psychological). Physical: My goal is to along with my daily exercise, try to maintain a healthy food diet, especially staying away from fried foods. Spiritual: To continue to stay connected with God. Psychological: By always remaining positive and always reach for the stars, I can do anything through God who strengthens me. What activities or exercises can you implement in your life to assist in moving towards each goal? I think just taking time out for myself once in a while, looking out for me. Taking more walks and listening to my body and think positive as always. This will help me to keep focus and have a clear.

After completing the exercise, I felt very relaxed and sleepy. I need to listen to this while I’m having a hard time sleeping and my mind and body is totally relaxed.
