I scored myself somewhat fair in
these areas. Although I am not at the
bottom I could use some practice in all three.
Rating physical wellbeing as a 6/10 is fair to me. I am not much physical as I should be and would
like to be. I have got a journal and
keeping track of my eating plans, exercises, etc. Spiritual well-being is rated as a 9/10, I am
a big fan so spiritual belief. I attend
church on a weekly basis and my faith in God is through the roof. I am also trying to incorporate some mediation
in my spiritual belief as well. Lastly is my psychological well-being which is a
9/10 but after reading the description it is really multidimensional
perspective that has flourished with good decision making. I can use some help
in helping relieve some stress and also learn how to always stay positive about
anything in life. I can say these 10
weeks have really helped me discover myself on things that I have never known
about me. I am glad that this class has
helped me to become a better person.
Physically my goals were met; I
achieved new ways of working my body, mind, whether it is exercise or meditation. Spiritually I flourished with relaxation
techniques. Psychologically I know it
takes time my goal was to adapt to certain situation that life brings. It is still a work in progress. I have to stay focuses and tackle one goal at
a time.
The activities I implemented in my
life to assist in each of these goals have been achieved. I have tried
exercises that goes beyond my physically challenge. I challenge myself to do more and push and
motivate myself. I have done the
spiritual growth exercises of meditation as describes in Dacher’s book, I have
tried as always to read, walking, and just learning to take time for
myself. Psychologically I have been building
my positivity in my life. I have
surrounded myself with positive people and positive word every morning when I
get up.
As most of us know, this class has
been a blessing and should be taught to everyone in college regardless of
degree. These books teach a great degree of inner strength. The positive perspective this class has
taught me, is truly amazing, it has given me the strength to put my mind and
set goals that I have to push myself to complete. I have learned to give the inner strength of
positivity to others, to show that it is important to love yourself in order to
trust and love others. It is a common bond
that connects all of us who help strengthen one another with different
perspectives and relationships.
